The start of a new era for the West Coast Nationals! Oak Canyon Private Park is nice enough to spend a Sunday just enjoying a day in the park. Add about 400 awesome looking Z-Cars and a few thousand Z Enthusiasts, and you've got the new Z-Car West Coast Nationals. Some things are the same as you'll see in the first gallery, like the crazy early birds that always show up while it is still dark, a truck load of coffee & donuts for those waiting, fellowship of the Z while waiting in line, and, of course, some of the best looking Z's in the world. With the new pre-self-classification, pre-registered plan this year, the lines disappeared literally in record time. The patented California weather was perfect, and many told us they didn't know what to expect while looking around driving down the private entrance road to the park, but once they all went down the hill inside the park, and saw the lake, trees, and gorgeous surroundings, realized this is the perfect place for a car show. The food options seemed to be popular this year, especially with breakfast added to the menu. From the screams of enjoyment we assumed the younger enthusiasts enjoyed the park's Ferris Wheel.

The Motorsport Booth was busy from before it was officially open, as both the Hector Cademartori designed event T-shirt, and Coffee Mug, were quickly snapped up. Special thanks to Hector for an awesome design! Our Z Parts suppliers donated some great prizes this year, so the continuous raffle was a big hit as always. Nissan also showed up with the new NISMO 350Z, lots of very nice 350Z brochures, as well as a very cool Spec-V (the only non-Z at the show!). A great spread of our Z parts vendors and guests kept busy all day showing Z-wares and answering Z-questions (see below for more on the Vendors at the show). We even sent a few of Motorsport's finest back to the showroom in the afternoon to open up for our out-of-town visitors having no other day available to get their parts.

The response we've received about having the cars lined up this year by model was simply overwhelming. Having all of the different Z Models parked together in their own places, we were told, made for a much more enjoyable, as well as easier to judge, show. Thanks to all of you who requested the show be set up that way in years past! The feedback we've heard so far has been great, feel free to let us know what you thought of the show.

While we weren't able to get a tremendous amount of images this year, especially of specific car details, engines, and interiors, we are working on a
DVD of this year's show, which will be much more detailed, and should be available in the next few weeks.
In addition to all the great cars, some of our Z parts manufacturers & vendors were able to attend the show, with technical information about and displays of many of the parts you see in our catalog, along with bringing some great raffle prizes! If you had a question about the vast selection of parts we carry by these Manufacturers, here was your opportunity to get those answered directly! The vendors included Nissan, Tokico, Eibach, Cusco, K&N, Weber, Crane, Vertical Doors, Inc., Schneider, One Grand, Taylor, Covercraft, Wet Okole, Seatz, Kennedy Designs, Datsun Freeway, G-Machine, and Z-Therapy, along with our guests Nissan Sport Magazine. To get an idea of what they brought to the show (from the awesome NISMO 350Z to the very cool variety of Z-related apparel made just for the show by Kennedy Designs), just click on the picture. If you have any questions about any of these vendors or guests, just let us know.
