1973 Blue 240: While on a photo shoot the assistant noticed car 1 & we talked about his car... a 2 owner car that unfortunately had a temperament - overheating wise & resided (again) for years under a cotton car cover where moisture & tree sap did a number on this car. In looking at it - I grabbed the shifter and ran it through the gears... I asked how much do you want for it? $250 dollars... he said. I took it home & fired it up in about 30 min (my usual) and it ran fine but - true to form overheated. It had all new hoses, rad, water pump... So I pulled the head & the water jackets were packed solid w rust. Noticing no ring lands & the bearings in perfect cond.
a perfect running original 50K car. I stripped the car & have gotten it to it's current state before moving from CA. Just a new interior because the rest of it (look at the struts & over all cond in the pictures) and acid dip & fresh original color paint. She is good to go for another oh say 40 years...
