1972 Datsun 240Z. Well this was my car. A year ago I gave it to my sister, as my father gave me his 1956 Thunderbird. It just had to stay in the family. Well my brother-in-law (Gerald) took to it and turned it into the beauty you see in the pics. I bought it in 1984 from the original owner. Through Motorsport Auto I purchased many a part over the years, always trying to keep the car as original as possible. New seat covers, carpets, chrome pieces, etc. I did add a nicer stereo (Alpine deck with Boston Accoustic speakers) and did a one plus conversion on the wheels – with some American Racing rims and Goodyear Eagle GT+4’s. The previous owner had the front scoop put on after a scrape of some sort and I thought it really looked great, so I never took it back to original. Gerald did all the body work himself, primed it and did the color coats. The clear coat turned out to be a bit tough and was turned over to a pro.
