The car has numerous upgrades: stiffer roll bars front and rear, slotted rotors rear, drilled rotors front, HICAS eliminator, Eibach springs, Pop-Charger, performance chip, aluminum flywheel, high performance clutch, shortened shift throw, custom steering wheel. The car has over 260,000 reliable miles on it now. I’ve used nothing but Mobil 1 oil since new – which I feel has contributed to the longevitiy of the engine and turbos. For most of this car’s life, it has been my daily transportation – for several years in a row, I was putting more than 35,000 miles on it per year. The car is not babied - I love to drive fast, and I love the acceleration this car delivers. I have seen 145 mph on the speedo once – numerous times over 130 – (On the track at Willow Springs, during a lunch break at Vintage races, where passing was allowed only on the straights, I never got a clean run from the last turn to the first turn – the speedo indicated about 123 mph.)
