Photos of my 260Z and myself competing in a "classic around the houses race" in a small country town in Western Australia called Albany. It's located some 400 Km south of the state capital Perth. It's one of three such races our club runs each year around the streets. Re enacting famous Grand Prix races of the 1930's and 1940's. The day includes cars of all types from race cars of the era to sports and other interest cars up to 1979. These are geat fun to participate in.
I have owned my car for 5 years. It's a 1976 260Z (we didn't get the 280Z in Australia we had the 260 then went to the 280ZX in about 1979) I bought it as a wreck for $600.00 and spent many hours and dollars to bring it back to life. It still has some devolpment to go but I'm very happy with it. The enging has had some head work, port polish, new valves, new springs, port matching, mild street cam, extractors, dual point distrubutor and the old carbies replaced with 2'' SU's. I don't use it as a daily driver.
